I still can't believe it's true....
here's my story:
So I was sleeping in this morning (as usual) when I got a call from our realtor at 8 a.m. Of course, the second I woke up I had to pee. I'm 15dpo and remembered that I had an open HPT that I accidently mistook for an OPK. So I thought, "What the heck...I'll just test!"
Now, I don't and haven't felt pregnant at all. A little tired, but no sore boobs, no nausea, no weird cravings. I honestly didn't think I had the slightest chance (especially with my wonky temps) but just didn't want to let the test expire. Well, I peed on it and as I watched the urine soak through the test strip, low and behold....a line.....and then another line. A positive!!
So I was half asleep, and it didn't really sink in so I brought it with me to the bedroom while I attempted to sleep more. I layed down for a minute then bolted upright and grabbed the test. I couldn't believe it! It was true. But then I got to thinking that maybe because the test had been open for the past 2 weeks that it would alter the result. So I refused to think anything.
Around 10:30 I went to buy another test. This one was positive within seconds as well. Okay, so 2 tests which are 99.9% accurate, both saying I'm pregnant...that probably means I am right?? (still couldn't believe it)
But I am so excited. I really am. A September baby was my dream because it's my favorite month of the year. I'm due around the 20th.
