No appetite?

Does anyone else have no appetite? I cannot find anything appealing. Well, that's not true, for the last 4 days I have been living on homemade hummus with pita. Nothing else sounds good, nothing. Not even chocolate! And if you knew me you'd know what a big deal that is LOL.

Anyone else feeling this way?

I have a bit of an appetite today, unlike the last two days, which is really exciting. But yeah, I know what you mean -- NOTHING sounds good. Usually I can think up one thing I could eat -- toast, salad, today at lunch I even ate a burrito -- but there comes a point most of the way through every thing I eat where suddenly I look at what I'm eating and go "EW." And then I have to put it down and that's the end of that.

Oh, and there is a ton of Christmas chocolate still in the house, and more than once I have looked at it and thought, "Nope, not interested." And that is UNHEARD OF, believe me!

Right now I think I could eat some canteloupe. Better go get some before that changes!

LOL that's what I did at lunch today. I was having a piece of lasagnea left over from dinner last night. I took a couple of bites and then gagged, then I couldn't eat any more. So, then I made myself some hummus and pita . Oh well, at least it's healthy right?

I'm wondering too if the prenatal vitamins are making me queasy. I've only been on them for a few days, so I'm starting to try them out other times of day, with different meals/foods... Usually I have a really hard time remembering pills unless I take them at breakfast. But I'm finding so far that being pregnant is on my mind ALL the time, so it's not hard to remember the vitamins at other times!

There so needs to be a queasy smiley face option. I'm thinking green face, little x over the mouth, maybe some bulging cheeks... WAIT! There IS one, called "puke"! And it's really gross! I'm not going to even post it. Let's go with:

Anyway, I hope I don't get to the point where I'm actually puking. I'll take queasiness and no appetite ANY day over that! Have a great night, mamas.

Prenatals always made me so much worse! I had to stop taking them during my first trimester in my previous pregnancies. I am taking them now, but so far I feel great. I take them with dinner and when I was only mildly nauseous in the other pregnancies, taking them with food seemed to help. I found a kind that is supposed to be gentle on your stomach because it contains ginger and something else herbal that can't recall at the moment.

What kind of prenatals are you guys taking? I've been taking Rainbow Light's Complete Prenatal System. I'm not fond of taking six tablets a day, but it does help me remember to take my other medications (I take two for high blood pressure). They haven't given me any problems with nausea, just bright yellow pee in the morning

Nothing sounds good here. I tried to eat a egg this am gagged on it. The only thing that i can get down(without gagging at the thought) is tortila with melted mozzerella cheese.
I eat it 6 times yesterday. LOL

Is THAT what's making my pee fluorescent, Sarah?! I've been taking the Whole Foods generic brand, but I may switch after I talk with my midwife Friday.

I'm also taking Rainbow Light, but it's only one pill. I have the glowing pee, too.

Same here. Dh has tried to tell me that neon pee means you have too much sugar in there, but the ONLY time it's EVER neon for me is when I'm taking vitamins regularly.
