Mold on diaper covers...ew!

So I just picked up some diaper covers from a fellow Freecycler and some have mold on them (she warned me ahead of time!). They are that plasticy type material (dappi covers, etc.)

How would you clean this off? Is there anything you're NOT supposed to clean these with besides bleach?

Thanks!

Have you tried posting in the diapering forum- you might get more responses there.

sorry I don't know what to do.

Soak them in OxiClean -- a pretty heavy solution, like an entire scoop in one sink of hot, hot water -- overnight or more. Start with just one to see what happens to the cover, as I've never tried it with something that is supposed to be waterproof. I have done this with fabric several times with no adverse reactions, though.

Good luck.
