The Office - Page 83

I cried like a baby with the JAM last scene. I think Ryan will still be in it since he has Jans job.

Speaking of Jan I think that was hilarious how she won Michael back!!

As long as Karen didn't get that other show I think she'll be back to make some uncomfortableness, but I don't think it will work especially with Pam and her new found self

Great season finale!! I'm prob going to watch it again this weekend a few times. I hope the DVD comes out soon!!

Did Pam give him candy? I thought it was one of those medals they made from the Office Olympic episode. I loved how he kept looking at it. He was the obvious choice for the job, I think.

And, it was clear when Jim was feeling sympathy for Jan that what's-her-face isn't right for him.

I wonder where they'll go to dinner?

I missed the very, very last bit!!!

For some reason, my DVR never records the very, very last part of the Office (I guess I could easily fix that by changing the time the recording stops!)...what's this about Ryan and Kelly being done???

Thanks!

Melissa

that

So how come nobody knew that Ryan was interviewing for the job? I hope they still have him on the show now and then, I like him.

I am probably the only one who feels this way, but Jim asking Pam out the very same day he (presumably) broke up with Karen really rubs me the wrong way. Didn't they date for something like 6 months or more? Weren't they close to moving in together? Suddenly, he dumps Karen and asks Pam out on the same day? If I were Pam I'd say something like, "Wait. Didn't you JUST spend the last two days in NY with your girlfriend?!" :

That worries me too.

I am really worried that it's just a dinner to chat things out and reconnect.

I think the writers wanted it to be unclear if it were a "date" or just dinner between friends...keep us wondering a little.

I hope they don't do a "Friends- Ross & Racheal" things with this.

Have them hook up already!! Karen is nice but she actually called Pam a *itch.
And something about her character is annoying to me.

What happens though, when they hook up? Is the series over?

That's where the British series ended...

I don't think Ryan is leaving. He is a producer and writer on the show too, so they keep his role small, I think you'll see him from time to time.

I don't know. the actress who plays Karen has a new sitcom, but my DH said he read she's signed on to the office too - might just be for a few episode fade out. Or they could keep her on to play bitter ex against JAM - her character could go pretty bitter pretty well I think.

So you obviously saw the part with teh CFO offering Ryan the job. Ryan is just standing there with his back to Kelly. He puts the phone down without looking, Kelly I think says something like 'who was that?' and without turning to her says 'We're through.' very firmly and executively. As Kelly start babbling 'what? etc', and without moving his head he just looks over at the camera with a very tiny smile and the scene cuts.

They aren't following the british series. They started with the characters, took the premise for the first episode and have stolen plot ideas from them, but they are making their own way.

I love this episode!! My favorites:

Swing low, sweet chariots
Creed's "blog"
Changing the name from Dunnder-Mifflin to "Paper Great"

I didn't see the medal...was it in the papers?
I thought Jim's hair was GREAT! Loved it. Better than the ratty wig he was wearing the 2nd part of the season.

And I think its so funny how Michael has the posse of women waiting in the conference room to help him deal with Jan!

Oh, yeah and when Pam is incredulous that Michael had obviously agreed to take Jan back he says, "your arguments were good, but Jan's were bigger." Or something like that.

Oh, THAT'S what that was! I had no idea. Okay, I'll admit, I actually thought "condom wrapper" but that didn't make any sense at all.

I think it would be possible to have a couple together and still be funny.
It's not something that's been done too often but the writers of The Office should be able to pull it off.

As for what Pam gave Jim...I thought it was a medal from the Office Olympics too. I loved when Jim was in the interview and they asked him what he liked most and he looked down at Pam's note...you know he wanted to say Pam.

My guess is they will have them be friends again like the used ot be and build them back up...and hopefully get together.

I hope they keep Ryan.

The show is just so funny. I laugh out loud watching it.

OH MY!
ALL of that above!!

When Michael says "I didn't tell her" to Wallace.
"I just call him Beardy"

I was really turned off on Karen, I think she showed her true colors this episode.
I was trying to be understanding but:
--She called Pam a b*tch
--She stabbed Michael in the back during the interview
--She was condescending to Pam
--She was mean to Jan
--She left Jim during the interview
--She put the pressure on him about moving by saying "I would move to NY if you got the job, there's one too many people in Scranton"

Dwight's takeover was also pretty wild!!
