I've never been this pregnant before!!

I'm 38 wks 5 days today!! On Sunday, I'll be 39 weeks! I think I'll still be pregnant on Sunday too, so party is forthcoming My poor DH. He's so anxious for this baby to get here. I think it's sweet. In honor of being super huge and more pregnant than ever, I totally left the house today. I went out to spend time with awesome mama friends and had a wonderful day waddling around, surrounded by love and children. It was great. I almost didn't go out because my sweet toddler man stayed up til 3 (thank-you to my mom who gave him a bag of candy at 11pm!!!!) and I was tired, but I'm so glad I went out. It was fun walking around knowing that at this stage gestation 2.5 years ago, I had a one-day-old

Glad you are feeling so great and able to enjoy the day with friends. I woke up this am thinking the same thing, "I have never been this pregnant before" ( I am 3 days past EDD).

Tara - *smiles* I think you and I have the same 'due date' - I'm supposed to be due Jan 15, but I have a family hx of long gestators, so I am thinking I'm going to be delivering around 42 weeks (and here's hoping my doc doesn't fight too much on it - I'm vbac'ing).

Have a great day, enjoy the wee one moving inside - it's soon going to be an empty place in there - I was thinking that today - how I'll miss the movements after my William is birthed. . . .
