7-8 minutes apart lasting about 45 seconds . . . this feels familiar . . . definitely REAL contrax and I'm not even lying down! Oh my, oh my -- is this it? Last time (with 1st babe) I went to sleep at midnight and they were about like this, I think, and I woke up at 5am ready to go to the hospital . . . ok, there was just another one - only 4 min from the last but it only lasted 35 sec this time. . . I gotta get up and walk around to figure out what to do . . . call MIL to be on call to watch DD? Call dh playing poker down the street? Wait it out? Of course, of course . . . thanks for letting me express!

How exciting! How are you feling now? Maybe have a glass of water and a snack and see how you feel, then maybe make the calls?

I've been feeling that way for most of the day, but my labors always putz along for a while before they get serious. I'm hoping that means baby will come this weekend, though!

Oh yes! Make sure you drink a LOT of water! It seemed to calm my irritable uterus right down so that productive contractions could be felt. (or in my case, not felt. )
