I read that acne is caused by an overgrowth of yeast.

i'd be interested in hearing more about the yeast .... our dermotologist had said it was hormones... i think other things can cause similar affects of acne, but maybe perhaps acne is either specific to a hormone problem or a general term for blemishes . for instance when i eat nuts it triggers a different kind of pimple for me (yeah!! : ).

please let me know any reference to the yeast thing you heard
