My daughter is here! She was born yesterday in water at home at 5:55 am.
After all that prodormal labor she came really quick. Labor was about 3 hours long, I pushed three times- she was here!

The vital stats: Annelie Florence
Absolutely gorgeous at 9 lbs. even and 20" long. Latched on like a champ at 20 min. of age and hasn't let up since. No tearing, not even a skid mark.

I'll post a real birth story with pics later!

Congrats! I had to butt into your due date club to tell you how much I LOVE your dd's name! I just may steal it if I am having a girl - I hope you don't mind.

Whoo hoo! It was about time we had a baby born around here.

Yeah for you!!!!! Congratulations! I read these stories of 3 hour labors with pangs of desire!!!!! Oh well! Enjoy your babymoon!!

Congratulations. What a sweet name...Florence was my grandmothers name and I've always wanted to use it...it's beautiful!!! Water, home, 3 hours...can't get any better than that!!
