Advice and hug needed.

My 27 months old ds never wants to eats solids and constantly wants breastmilk. For a year I have not a good nights sleep on my back b/c since we co-sleep, he will want breastmilk all night.

It is very uncomfortable for me now and I feel so sad that he rejects almost everything that I cook for him (I am a vegetarian chef, so it disappoints even more so). I have blisters from him biting down when he goes into sleep, to then go back on it.

I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I have tried almost everyting in the books on how to wean.

I need to go back to work soon b/c the bills are getting out of hand but dh feels that will never happen b/c of ds 24 hour breastmilk attachment.

I need advice and a shoulder to lean on. thanks for reading

I wish I had some advice for you, but all I can manage right now is a hug.

do you think this is purely a food issue? or do you think something else is going on with him? I am in no way implying that I personally think something is wrong with your son, just wondering if there is anything else going on besides simply not liking solid food. could this be an emotional issue? I mean, plenty of toddlers are extremely picky and snack sporadically throughout the day rather than eating actual meals. when you say never wants to eat solids do you really mean never?

Hugs to you Mama.
Have you looked into possible sensory issues? Tell us details. Does he gag on food, will eat only mushy things?

He has no sensory issue. He eats just corn, broccoli, rice, little pasta, but never wants water and once the sun goes down, he is breastfeeding till it is time to wake up. You should see the position I am now to type this while this 27lb boy is on top of me.
I just want a good nights rest.

He is a normal child, playful, Hardly sick (knock on wood), vax free annd and has so much love around him.
Ouch! just bit down on my nipple! Ok have to close laptop.

thanks mommies
