Anyone always thirsty??

I am finding that I am constantly thirsty....for water only! I drink and drink and drink all day long (and of course, when I'm not drinking I'm peeing! ).

Is anyone experiencing this? I have no other symptoms still (which makes me nervous) so I was wondering if this could be from the pregnancy....

Yup! To the drinking and peeing. And I have no other symptoms yet, either. It's still pretty early - I'm only 5 weeks.

Your body goes through same crazy changes while your preg. I was that thirsty in my 3 trimester. Remember, your body will always let you know what it needs, or if something is wrong. I personally do not think it is unhealthy or anything, but you should mention it to your ob just in case.

Hi Mum2be!

Yeah, same here. And no signs for me either, which also makes me nervous! But I work on the puter at home, and I bet I drink a big glass of water every hour for 10 hours + straight, then some more with dinner!

phew! I'm glad I'm not the only one!

I end up getting so annoyed when I have to pee. I just sit down to do something and I have to run all the way upstairs into the coldest part of the house to pee Trying to watch a movie...forget about it! Dh has to pause it at least 12 times!

Yep-count me in, too. I'm pretty thrirsty, but oddly, I only want slight cool instead of cold ice water, like I usually drink.

I'm also craving bread in a BIG way.

I've been hitting thirsty patches for the last couple of days, but, just like w/ my appetite, I can't really seem to find anything to satisfy it. I'll settle on something, drink about 1 glass, and then think, ew, gross, why am I drinking this?, and still be so thirsty.

I officially drank around 15 glasses of water yesterday. I would drink and it would never quench my thirst... : My lips were even dry! How could that be?!

Hopefully today will be better.

Me too

I am dry and sticky in the mouth. I've been drinking rooibos (red bush) tea which feels good, but the water from our filter tastes odd. I can't drink enough and I am peeing here all day too. I teach in 2 hour sessions and I can usually manage not to go in that time but today I just had to. My students are all women and they will be guessing soon!

Me, too. And only water will do. I used to drink coffee pretty regularly... total of 1-2 cups a day, but EVERY day. A couple days ago I put the coffee cup to my mouth and couldn't even take a sip. I'm done... and it's my only pg symptom so far.

OH my word, I thought for sure I was just a freak. I cannot get enough water, I walk around with my water bottle all day and night, which makes the peeing situation insane!

I have incrediably sore breasts, my belly is actually pooching out, and my lower back hurts. I do sometimes get nauseous, but it's so different than my last pregnancy that I really worry if everything is ok in there!
