Multivitamin Help Needed!!!

Can anyone recommend an organic multivitamin for my infant? He is 5 months old now but I know that it is advised to begin using a liquid multivitamin when he turns 6 months. I've looked at Floradix Kinder Love. It seems pretty good, but I want to hear others' testimonies before I just squirt anything in my baby's mouth.

I'm not exactly sure that I should be using one though. My doctor suggested that we start using one, but I'm exclusively breastfeeding right now and still taking prenatal vitamins. Doesn't that mean that my baby is getting all nutrients that he needs?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!! I don't want to start giving my baby anything that is unnecessary.

What does your doctor think that your milk is lacking in that you need to supplement your baby with a vitamin?

I never gave my kids vitamins until they significantly cut back on nursing- I figure that a child who's nursing regularly doesn't need extra vitamins (this included my DS until he was about 3.5 and nursing at least twice a day.)

I've never heard of this. I've never given either of my kids a vitamin until they got to the "don't eat for crap" toddler years.

I've never given my child multi-vitamins when he was a baby, heck I don't now because I know he won't take it without a fight and he eats pretty decent for a toddler. Never had a dr push me to give one either. Unless he was premature there's really no reason that he needs one, your milk has it all. Why would nature make something that's deficient after a certain age?
