I do not get it. I thought for sure I was pregnant. I'm dizzy, quessy, excessive saliva, headaches, super tired and a missed AF. I bought early first response thinking it would show up for sure being that you can take it 9 DPO.
I'm 20 DPO today. How can I NOT have a + now? I'm going to retest in the AM.

Hmmm...you sound pregnant to me, too. It's rare, but maybe the test is bad. Or maybe you have unusually low levels. Are you still nursing? I'm still nursing my 22 month-old dd and I tested a week after my period was due and got a VERY faint line. Actually, I had already accepted "negative" and when I was throwing it away I thought I saw another line. I had to ask my DH (who has eagle vision) to tell me what he thought.

You certainly do sound like you could be pregnant! Maybe try a different brand of hpts. My favorites are Equate. They are the Wal-Mart ( ) brand and they are the "so-called" best ones.

Good luck! I hope you have some good news soon

I usually use First Response HPT. It's supposed to detect the hormone 4 days BEFORE period. But, as I said, I was a week (maybe 6 days) past my period due date and I only got a faint line.

I really think that has to do with my nursing, because last time I was pregnant, I got a dark line 5 days before my period with the First Response test.

I don't know. Don't get too sad yet, because you really sound pregnant! Try another test. Maybe even consider getting a blood test from a doctor.

Good luck! I'm praying that test is just wrong.

I'm nursing but I got a dark line at 11 dpo (visible one at 10 dpo) - the line depends on when you implanted typically.

I'm sorry your test was BFN, hoping a different test yields a different result for you!

Are you sure you O'd? Charting? (Had to ask this because sometimes people aren't sure except by going of a calendar! Sorry!)

Other than that I had a girl on my birth boards with #2 that didn't get a ++ HPT until she was 13 weeks. She was under the care of an RE so got + blood tests but never a urine one until then.

Don't dispair just yet. I agree w/ the others. You certainly sound pg to me, too. As I said before, I tested every day for over a week before I got a faint +. Some women just take longer to build up the hormones than others, I think. It's pretty rare, I belive, but I have heard of some women who never test + w/ an hpt. Just give it a little more time. And remember, we're here for you.
