Homemade Soap, Lip Balm, etc. Swap??

Hi moms!

There are so many of us into this kind of thing I'm wondering how many of us we could get together for a swap...I think it would be fun to see what everyone concocts out of oils and wax!

I'm a total lip balm junkie and have created my ideal formula, but I'd like to get more into soaps, butters, scrubs and such.

We've started keeping bees, too, and I've got quite a pile of beeswax I intend to use up.

Anyone interested?? (I hope so since I have no idea how to actually organize a swap myself...)

how does the swap work? does everyone in it get one of everyone's product are you matched up with someone? i belong to a forum that is ONLY bath and body/candles and when we do swaps we send one for everyone in the group and then the host splits them all up and we all get one of everyone's creation....is this how your swaps work?

BTW, i make soap, lotion, body butter, salve, lip balm, perfume oil, deodorant cream, laundry soap....

i'm in i make cp soap, usually all natural (no fragrance oils or artificial colors) unless fragrance is preferred.

I would looovvee some natural lotion or body butter.

I think posting this in the Swaps & Co-ops forum would definitely get more attention, go for it!

Here's a thought too - what about setting it up as a reverse swap? That's where you list what you have/can make and then people choose who they want to send goodies to them. Make sense? That way we wouldn't end up receiving a bunch of things we can make ourselves.
