My baby's breech

Well... THAT was unexpected. Please send me baby turning vibes, I want to have this kid head first. I'm really bummed right now... not too scared, cause I know you can have a breech baby at home, and my midwife is ok with doing them, but I'd still rather have a head down baby to give birth to. But still bummed.

You're lucky your midwife will do breech! That should be a weight off your shoulders at least.

Sending turning vibes your way...

Is there a good chiropractor in your area that knows turning techniques? I've heard this is really effective and not tramatic like what an OB does to get a baby to turn.

Also, my mom (just completing her doula cert.) has a doula book that is all about position and turning the baby...check out your doula materials. I can't remember the title, but I do remember it being a small paperback, white with black lettering on the cover.

Don't forget moxibustion ~ it's supposed to have a great success rate!!

Awww, mama, I hope that baby turns! I'm glad you can still go ahead w/the delivery, but thinking optimistically that this little one will turn.
Try those exercises and hopefully you'll get some progress.
I'll be sending your sweet one turning vibes!

I'll be thinking of you, too, Persephone. I think it's so great that your mw will let you deliver vaginally, anyway. I was my mother's first born and was a breech and it was challenging, but she did just fine. You can, too, but let's hope you don't have to!!

((turn baby, turn!))

I'm so glad you have the option of breech delivery if you need it.
