Anyone go into labor with a cold?

I've been sick ~ ~ as if being nine months pregnant isn't already uncomfortable! I was wondering if anyone has gone into labor with a cold and how it worked out?

I am hoping this clears up first but there's always Murphy's Law so I thought I'd check!

I haven't, but I have feared that very thing this time with the delivery being in winter.
I truly hope you don't have to find out how it is to deliver this way. I'm sending you healing vibes!!!

I haven't but we are all fighting a cold rght now. I am laying down the law though and pushing everyone to get better as fast as possible as I'de really like avoid it. Unfortunatly with DS in daycare and at this time of year I feel like it might be unavoidable. Sigh.

I've got it, too. Not too bad but my glands are swollen a little. And I forgot to mention it to the doc this a.m., but did find out my due date is actually TODAY, not Monday like we thought. Not that it matters much...
He stripped my membranes, too.
Anyway, try some Emergen-C powder, if you haven't already. Comes in little packets, you add water and it fizzes up, has TONS of vitamin C and minerals. It's kicked my colds before. I think it's kept this one from getting out of hand. Everyone I've pushed it on swears by it!
You can get it at health food stores; here in OH alot of drugstores & groceries carry it, too.
Between feeling icky and not sleeping well for weeks, I'm wondering how on earth I'll make it thru labor!

Yep. My toddler and I both had a really icky cold when Luka was born. It seemed to go away during labor and birth, but the first week or so PP I had to take cold meds to be able to breathe enough to sleep at night.
