The first scan showed kidney stones, ugh, and a mass on my liver, so they thought liver cancer. I also questioned the dye and refused to do it. So I am interested in the findings that you came up with.

For the sentinel lymph node biopsy. I needed a radioactive dye injected the day before. Per the radiologist injecting the dye. The compound was Tc-99m Sulphur Colloid. I had 1mC1 injected into me.. Luckily I had obtained a radioactive medication refrence guide for lactating women. On the sheet, with 12mC1, nursing had to be stopped for 6 hrs. I only had 1 mC1. While I was at the hospital I s/w a nuclear physist. He asked me to stop nursing for 12 hrs, as he was concerned as the dye was injected into my breast. And as he admitted the figures were accurate, he said the sheet was based on medication excreted thru the liver.
I didn't nurse on that breast for 12 hrs, but nursed on the other side for 6. Long story short. So many people at the hospital said I couldn't nurse anywhere from 72-24hrs. Do you homework. Look up into Dr. Hale's refrence library. Find out if an alternative dye can be administered.
