WOW! am so sorry for what you are dealing with. It soundslike you are handling it all like a champ, and kudos to you for trying so hard to keep the bfing connection with your baby--you probably need those moments just as much as he does now.
you posted earlier about raw milk and formula and i wanted to send you this info about making your own formula that babies that cannot BF thrive on:

also the Dr that stands behind this organization (Weston A. Price and Nourishing Traditions) treats cancer w/o chemo. and I just wanted to send out that link in case it is something you want to research. I have never had cancer and do not know what options you have explored already but just in case:

You go Mama! Thank you for fighting for the rights of your family when it must be so hard too! Your family is very lucky to have you! You are in everyone's thoughts and prayers. I can't stop thanking you for your family and all the women who will go through this ahead of you without the need to educate your caregivers!

Hugs to you mama. I just read this for the first time.

Shortly after dd was born, I was rushed to the hospital for severe pain (on Christmas eve of al nights!). They did a scan and wanted to inject rad. dye into me also and they said that I would have to wean for 24 hrs after the radioactive dye was injected. The first scan showed kidney stones, ugh, and a mass on my liver, so they thought liver cancer. I also questioned the dye and refused to do it. So I am interested in the findings that you came up with.
