I have discovered that controlling nausea works if I eat something hourly. The nausea is much worse on an empty stomach, and of course, then I don't want to eat.
If anyone in the same boat would like to make a list of easy foods on the stomach~I'd enjoy getting idea's. I don't feel too creative with food right now. Plus, it seems after a few days, specific foods stop working and become repulsive! I had morning sickness from 6-12 weeks with ds, just like this, so if I can just get through this trimester I will be okay. I haven't actually thrown up yet, as I really am working on controlling the feeling of nausea before it gets bad.
So far these are working for me:
Yo Baby 6 packs of yogurt~it's very mild light yogurt, and also available in Soy.
Instant mashed potatos, very appealing for their sheer blandness.
Natural cheese spread on crackers.
Peanut butter on toast.
Ripe avacado slices on cracker. Sometimes I just eat half an avacado, it seems easy on the stomach.
Cheese quesadillas worked for a few days but now I can't look at them.
Apple chips
Kefir was working but also became unappealing
Bagel toasted with cream cheese or other topping
I find if I make a plate and keep it by my bed and eat something everytime I get up at night, it keeps me feeling good.
