Online latin translater?

I need to translate some Latin. We're not interested in actually studying Latin so not a book or curriculum or anything. Just something online I can use to quickly translate some phrases from Asterix.

I got that from Google, haven't used it though. If you google "online translator latin" a few pop up.

Thanks I did find a few from google last night but the problem is they are translating some of the words, but not all. It's Asterix, a comic book, so maybe they aren't real Latin words but puns that someone who knew Latin would get? Like one of the Romans is named Crismus Bonus and another is Ginantonicus Ah well.

Online translators never work for Latin. Its too complex inflectionally. As a Latin teacher, I would be happy to help. Just post here what you are looking at. I have most of the Asterix's in English and latin, so I probably have the book.

Latinmom, thanks that would be cool! It's Asterix The Gaul. Any suggestions on which one to get next?

Ok, here's some

ipso facto (which is a legal term isn't it?)

Vae victo, vae victis

alea jacta est

quo vadis

aut caesar, aut nihil

(1st guy)vanitas vanitatum et omnia vanitas
(2nd guy)de facto
(3rd guy)quomodo vales
(4th guy) very well, thank you!

vade retro!!

I think that's it Thanks for any you can translate I've gotten a word or two but so far only one phrase has made sense with a translater.

Now I need to google what I assume are the names of Gaulish Gods and Goddesses
