For your kids, yourself, whatever

Today we googled "migou" which is what a Yeti is called in Tibet.

Then googled "Toutatis" who was an ancient Gaulish God.

Tried to google a craft but couldn't find it (it's a specific craft in a Hightlights mag that my dd made and I thought a friend would like. Maybe I can copy and email it to her).

Also googled a crochet pattern to post on another thread http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/...illaStole.html (is that stunning or what?)

Finally googled a local park to ask if we need permission to have a group picnic there in April for Earth Day.

~ alternate rules for a chinese game we want to play - again for the party
~ the origin of the robin hood story

It's been a slow day today....

use it anyway -

no mind blowing pursuits today but we did google why "My littel ponies" have a magnet on thier foot and if i was going to tuin thier sparkles by brushing their hair.

we found out that the magnets are only on the G3 ponies (appaerntly they tried to re-release them in 1995 or so and it was a huge flop. those of us who played with them as kids didn't have kids old enough to care. those were G2 ponies and the first ones were g1 ponies) the magnets are used to activate stuf fon the play sets. Tey can wreck tvs and computer screens. (oh and as an aside if that ever happens that a strong magnet hits your screen and mkaes the nasty purple mark, unplug your screen for the day or over night and it should be fine when you turn it on again. but it is essential to unplug and completely deactivate the device)

lets se, we learned that people take ponies very seriously and need to get a life and we learned that wikpedia is a god place to start looking for things.

We googled "are icebergs salty?" to find out that no, they are comprised of pure fresh water

Warmly,

Our local city page

An article about some forensic artists/scientists creating a more accurate image of what Jesus might have looked like

And we tried to find something on google video but were mostly unsuccesful.

We google quite a bit most days. And Wikipedia too.

Tried to google the Jesus thing UnschoolMa mentioned. Care to give a linky?

Googled the Constantinople/Istanbul song because it popped in my head and I couldn't remember who did it. It's They Might Be Giants by the way and I found it in the computer music library so I got my fix

Googled chocolate and serotonin to justify my excessive consumption of the stuff the past few days.

I Google so much stuff I can't keep track. Just now, I Googled info on the US Figure Skating Championship women's short program. Earlier, I Googled info about Raising Cain and Dr. Michael Thompson.

Lilyka, one of my kids' friends stores all of her ponies up on her ceiling fan -- she uses the foot magnets to stick them up there.

I googled Hello Kitty in Spanish. We were arguing over whether it should be gato or gatito. The Spanish videos just call her "Hello Kitty". How boring is that?

I also googled for erratum on our Latin book, as dd was pretty sure the answer in the back was wrong.

Looks like we're using it to settle arguements here. Guess we're just in feisty moods.
