A few great experiences rolled into one

Yesterday I took my kids to see a wonderful new children's singer in Boston. Her name was Vanessa Trien (www.vanessatrien.com), and her concert was hosted by Magic Beans toy store. The singing was fantastic and the kids had a great time. I nursed my newborn throughout the concert and nobody batted an eye. Then afterward, as people were clearing out, I nursed him again sitting on a bench in the toy store. One of the employees saw me and wanted to be sure I knew there were soft gliders available as well. They had been moved aside to make room for the concert (which was packed), and she was feeling bad that they weren't right out in the open for me to use. Then shortly afterward, Vanessa sat down in the concert area to nurse her own one year old.

A good day all around! Hooray for Vanessa for her great new music and for nursing her toddler in public, and hooray to Magic Beans for creating a truly baby-friendly atmosphere!!!

Edited to fix link.
