How do you bear it?

The dissappointment each month when you aren't pregnant?

I feel so sad, wondering if something is wrong, wondering if it will ever happen, worried about putting my life on hold waiting to have another baby.

What kinds of things do you do to make yourself feel better?

A friend of mind today, when I got my period, suggested I go out and treat myself to things that I couldn't have if I were pregnant. So, I got myself some brie and moldy cheese and tonight I am having a vodka and orange juice. Yippee.

I have decided that on the day that I find out I'm not pregnant, from now on, I can have a treat of whatever I want, even if it is a little bit expenisive or very fattening.

Hopefully, I won't have to do this for too many more months.

It is hard, especially when people around you are getting pregnant (especially by accident, or if they say stuff like "I went off the pill and was pregnant like the next day!".

I did the same as you... when we first started ttc with #1, I shunned everything bad - alcohol, caffeine, etc. Finally I decided to have a beer when AF came. Pretty soon I would allow myself to drink until ovulation, then abstain until AF showed.

It is hard to relax and just let things happen when you want it so bad, especially if it is in your face everyday, charting and stuff....

Good luck to you!

At this point I've really been allowing myself to get as sad as I want for a day or two, at least in private. We don't have to be strong all the time.

I actually get really boosted when I hear a friend on the board is pg!!

Good luck!!!
