does anyone make prefolds? I was thinking of making a few but i don't have a surger so i didn't know if it could. Does anyone have the measurments for different sizes. I want to make a few small for sure to use as a doubler and for a baby i am suppose to get sometime. But i might make other sizes as well.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Jenn has instructions at www.sewdiapers.com and there also instructions on the Fern & Faerie site. If you don't have a serger you coule probably use the zig-zag on your sewing maching to finish the edges.
I hope that helps!

I've got instructions for doing prefolds from t-shirts - it's under the free patterns in my sig.
To make them without a serger, you'd sew around the edge with a straight stitch taking about 1/4" seam allowance. Trim up the edges so they're all even, then you'd go back around with a long, wide zigzag to overcast the edges.
