BIG PAIN IN THE BUTT!!!!! : :

I went for my ultrasound and Im still measuring a week behind, which Is probably right because Im sure I ovulated late...and of course we COULDNT FIND OUT what the gender was. ARG! I almost left the office in tears....that pain in the butt healthy baby was totally breech showing nothing but back and butt.....and no baby parts
So now I have to wait atleast another 6 weeks before we have another chance to find out. I want to cry! Im trying to plan ahead and get as much stuff as possible because money is soo tight and I cant! I finally just went and bought some of the girl bedroom stuff I wanted because its now on clearence and if we find out its a boy we can return it....but it sucks! THere are tons of sales going on and I cant get anything. If we have a boy we need EVERYTHING! All the stuff I have is soo girly its ridiculous. Pink flowery and ruffley. It would figure....oh well...its a healthy baby, its a healthy baby. Thats all that matters.

Im so jealous of everyone who is having such good luck finding out. Congrats mamas!

Kathryn, I'm so sorry that your little papoos is hiding from you. This is very common, though, as I'm sure you're aware of. I bet you at your next u/s, the little bugger will make him/herself known. Good luck and hang in there.

I wish I could loan you the OB that saw me - man, he spent a good 10 minutes looking every which way until he found out and he's not even going to end up my provider. It was very kind of him.

Anyway...prayers for news at the next u/s - even if it is farther along.

So sorry mama! I know how frustrating it is and I know about planning. I hope you find out soon! I too have plenty for a girl, but almost nothing for a boy. I bought some little onesies and t-shirts on sale at baby gap in neutral colors. Hang in there mama!

Oh man, that stinks!!! Of course as you said, healthy baby is what matters, but still, it's disappointing when you really want to know!

I almost ended up with the same situation - but I told my u/s tech that she couldn't go to lunch (it was around noon) until she figured out what it was!

Sorry you didn't find out. I had an u/s yesterday and they said even if we wanted to know we wouldn't have been able to. Shy baby
