I was in Hancocks today getting some velour and black thread (they only had 3 cones left when it was on sale, and I need 1 more for the serger and one for the sewing machine). I was walking by one of the sale tables and they had knit print remnants for $3.99. First, I've NEVER seen knit prints locally period. Second, they had some really nice train fabric in the pile!!! I picked up 2 yards and am really tempted to go back and get more. LOL. They are "remnants" in that they're not on bolts, but there's still a ton of fabric as if they were on bolts. So you just don't have fabric content info, but that's ok with me. I was just excited to see a BOY knit print!!!!

I figure I can make some PJs and fitted diapers with it. It's blue fabric (kind of a dark blue) with small trains all over it - a really nice print!

I keep hearing about knit fabrics but have never used it other than the terry knit used for hooded bath towels for babies. Whats the greatness about knit that I should know?

I like making some of my fitteds from all knits. They are stretchy and fit for a longer period of time.

Yeah, they're good for fitteds, and also for other children's clothing like PJs and such.

I the remnants table!

It's such a surprise digging through and seeing what deals there are. I always feel like I'm winning some big prize when there's something I'm looking for!
