Ok, here's my ongoing saga of my temperatures. So I figured that the thermometer I was using had a bad battery. So, I dig it out, write down the number and toodle off to the grocery store in search of a battery, so I can continue to chart. I've been using my ear thermometer, even though I know it isn't as accurate (I will get a wildly high reading if I use it in the ear that I was just laying on!).
They don't have the right battery, but the batteries that are similar are like $10!
At that price, I figured I might as well just get a new thermometer for a buck more. So I do. When I decided to just buy a new thermometer, I figured I would get a BBT one and save myself the trouble. Of course, they didn't have one. Having learned and being a naturally suspicious person, I took my temperature a couple of times when I got home. I took my temperature three times in a row, and got three different readings. Sigh.
So, I have now decided to hunt down and buy an honest to goodness, glass, stick in your mouth and wait five minutes, Basal Body Thermometer. The problem is, I don't know where to get one. The grocery store pharmacy didn't have it. I guess I'll try Walgreen's tomorrow. But if I don't find it there, I'm stumped. I guess I'll have to go online or something.
This is starting to get frustrating. I didn't think taking my temperature would be so difficult. Thanks for letting me vent!
