Where is a good place to buy unbleached beeswax? I looked at a Michael's and was shocked that a pound was $13.00. Is that in the ball park for price?
Thanks.

I found a block at Hobby Lobby for around $8 (can't remember if it was $8.99 or less).

You might try contacting a local beekeeper, too.

This link lists some beeswax producers in WI:

But at $0.95 per ounce the price for a pound would be $15.20. Maybe the OP needs less than a pound???

I'm confused.

I get mine from this guy on Ebay:

I use it for making skin salve. Good prices, fast shipping.

Thanks for all the help...actually the recipe I want it for calls for 3 oz. But, there are other recipes I want to "try", so I will need more like a lb.
