I do not know if anyone here is familiar with JP's work as a birth, pro-family, anti-circumcision activist. She was very instrumental in guiding me on my personal awakening of healthy birthing and mothering and I was a student at her Hygeia College.
I just found out she passed on Dec. 1, 2005 and I am just in awe of my emotion right now. She was such a strong and wise woman she seemd so invincible to me and her death really brings up the reality of our physical life here.
I am just wondring if anyone else knew her and how her life and death has affected you.

I learned of her death from the Midwifery Today forums the day after she died. I know that she will be greatly missed. Her books and work in the field of birth has inspired many, including myself.
