This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Karen, I hope you can see that the thread originator is going through the logical steps of intactivism and will edit gently and return the thread.
The logical progression of intactivism is: "Don't know nuttin but think I know everything -> Uh oh, I don't know what I thought I knew -> Oh my, this is horrible! -> despair -> anger -> confrontation -> more anger -> more confrontation -> despair -> realization -> commeriseration with the less knowing -> acceptance -> committed to educating those who are in the same place they were in.
The OP is in the same place many of us have traversed. For a while, I was in that anger/confrontation mode and I was worse than anybody could possibly be. I quickly saw that it was counter productive and got out of it. The OP will too but the thread looks familiar to many of us and many of us will yet go through that stage. I think it is valuable for everyone to see so that we will recognize ourselves when we get to that stage and can work our way through it.

Towards the end of the thread, the posters were getting rude towards each other and were going way off topic. They were no longer discussing the opening post, but were hurling insults at each other. If a thread bothers me so much that I can't think of what to say without calling someone else names, then I close the thread until I can think clearly again. Yes, I learned that the hard way.
: Anyway, don't blame yourself. It's not your fault.

It went "astray" at the end. I'll return it, I promise. My dh is out of town and I am solo with a wild and crazy 3 year old who is a night owl! Normally dh gets her to bed and I am on the net late having my own quiet time. Not this week!
Once I get her down, i'll return the thread!
