I took a poll after the lecture. I have 115 students. Over 80% agreed with the statement that what I told them was totally new information to them. Many of them actually thought that circumcision was mandatory prior to my lecture. Nearly 100% of the students agreed with the statement that they would seriously consider NOT circ'ing their sons, if they have sons in the future. Nearly 100% agreed with the statement they would research the issue outside of class.

Yay! Good job daekini! College age kids are the best target audience. They are open to new ideas and doing things differently from their parents and mainstream culture. It's the perfect time to get them to evaluate their preconceived notions and make them think about things.

I have a friend who is in nursing school in Bellingham, Wa. She's been a midwifery student for years and has given birth unassisted herself. She told me the other night that the nursing prof has asked her to do a presentation in class on no circ so I'm going to send her this link. Thanks for all the info.

We've had several of these class speech type presentations and they always turn out well. There is always a lot of interest, rapt attention and questions afterward.
