I had my first NST today. It was pretty neat. The doctor said I had too much amniotic fluid around the baby. But, today when I went to the NST, the nurse measured the amniotic fluid again and it's a normal level. She got a second opionion too... that nurse said it was normal. Boy, I am so relieved. I'm just happy that the baby is healthy and everything is normal. But, at the same time I am so mad that the *DR* was an idiot and didnt look to see that the baby was sitting on one side of my stomache and the pocket of fluid she measured last week was just in one spot where it seemed like too much. What an idiot!

It was neat. They measured my contractions to be 1 minute long and 7 minutes apart. Does it take forever to get your contractions to be closer together? I could barely even feel the contractions that were on the chart as "good size" contractions. The nurse said that they are regular... so are they still braxton hicks? I wonder how big the contractions that hurt like hell are on the chart. Has anyone else seen this?

So you had an AFI and a NST? I have been having these test twice a week for almost a month now. In fact I go in tomorrow for it again....then on Thursday.
