I really don't know what to say. I was in class today and felt something. I started having very mild cramping and went to the bathroom. There was some brown discharge on my panty liner, but then I noticed the blood coming out when I went to the bathroom. I'm so scared
I just got off the phone with a midwife and she said it sounds like a miscarriage. I'm going in for bloodwork today and tomorrow.
I am so depressed. I was so afraid this would happen. I can't believe it...
UPDATE!!!!
Okay, so I just got back from having an ultrasound. I saw the little peanut and the heart beating!! 141 beats per minute!
The ultrasound tech said I have a bicornuate uterus...it's shaped like a heart. Basically, he said everything should be fine. BUt I looked it up and I will have a much higher rate of miscarriages, preterm labor, smaller babies (because of the shape of my uterus, the baby doesn't have as much room to grow), and most of the babies are born breech and require a C-section.
I really, really want a homebirth!
Okay, okay...I am just glad that everything appears just fine right now. I'm still worried as heck, but to see the heart beat really helped lift my spirits!
He also said that the bicornuate uterus could be why I am bleeding a little bit.
I'm just so happy
But I don't want to get too excited...
