minestrone w/ leftovers?

I remember seeing a recipe for minestrone w/ leftover chicken here, but I can't find it. Can anyone give me a recipe? I've got leftover macaroni, leftover chicken, and assorted froz veggies, plus cans of diced tomatoes, and canned beans. I am one of those people who need some kind of recipe (even if I don't have exact amts), partly to tell the kids I didn't make it up--it's a real recipe ! They're always wary of things I make up on my own. :

What I do is pretty much add all the ingredients you've mentioned, add some dried basil and oregano, maybe also add some sauteed chopped celery and onion, then simmer for a while. Sorry it's never more exact than that for me.

Thank you, Lil'M! I am so pleased--the minestrone turned out great! Dh raved over it, and 2 of my 4 kids really liked it. And everything came from leftovers and canned stuff! Cool! My freezer is emptying out!
