My blood pressure is 150/100. Dr suggested we induce sometime next week, but I told him I really want to wait. So he sent me for a NST at the birth center, which was really just get hooked up to the monitor while I have a drink and chat with the lovely nurse. So it was nice and relaxing. Baby looked fine, bp came down to 140/90. Better, but still not so great as that was taken lying down.
So he said I can wait to go into labor on my own as long as my bp doesnt go up more and baby looks ok. I go back Monday for another NST. Until then, I am supposed to be resting as much as possible on my left side.
If anything changes then he'd rather get on with the induction, but as of now, i am safe to wait. I really want to go into labor on my own, but I am also nervous about waiting. And now after going to the BC I am nervous about labor in general!
OMG I guess I should finish packing my bag and stuff. It just dawned on me I will be having a baby very soon!
