Xpost - Hospital Waterbirth?

Has anyone done this? My practice offers it but I'm wondering what it's like in a hospital setting...

If anyone has details, caveats or tips, much appreciated!

I tried twice but both my labors were so fast they couldn't get the tub filled in time. Sorry I'm not much help.

Did it and it

We had a jacuzzi tub in the room, so I got in a bit before pushing ( I had been earlier but it didn't feel right I need to stand). Anyway it was really great, I felt comfortable and protected, since the bathroom of the room was so small only dh, our doula and midwife fit (and the doula was standing on the toilet ) I would highly recommend at least trying it.

I didn't end up giving birth in the tub, but I labored there for about 9 hours. My DS was posterior so I had severe back labor. Being on hands and knees in the tub was the only thing that helped. It was just me, my DH and my midwife in the tub room most of the time ( a nurse came in occasionally). I highly recommend it.

I did kneel with the hot shower running on my back while they attempted to fill the tub and that was nice for my painful back labour.
