Is MMR more likely to shed if child develops breakthrough measles?

My friend's 4-year old had the MMR booster, and several other vaxes including chicken pox, 10 days ago. His face swelled up and he had to go to the ER 2 hours after receiving the vax, and today he is showing many symptoms of measles: fever, red, itchy eyes, runny nose, and general malaise.
We had a playdate at their house 6 days ago. I was not particularly worried about my unvaxed boys being around a recently vaxed child. I'm still not that worried, just curious if the measles virus is more likely to shed in a child that goes on to develop the disease he was vaccinated against, putting my children at slightly greater risk of catching the measles.

Mo:

It would shed the same. But a child that develops the symptoms has a better chance of getting rid of the virus and avoiding the measles to colonize in the gut. Good for her. Her mom should let her run the fever without interference and basically let her have the measles. Poor girl.

With an intact immune system she may have never had them that severe. It's pretty bad to end up in the ER with measles. Wonder what they said? NOT VACCINE RELATED! ???

Just one bit of unsolicited advice: she may want to give her (mercury free) cod liver oil and fresh carrot juice. Measles are easier on the body when the child has a good supply of vitamin A.
