My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...

This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...

I feel badly that no on replied - I think this thread went around a few months back, so check the archives of this forum.
My only comment is that I just skip over the parts of books that don't apply - sometimes, you can run into this "mommy is the primary caretaker, daddy is the helper" kind of belief, especially about parenting babies. (Aside from the fact that there are TWO mommies in our family, my partner and I don't operate that way at all. We are very equal parents in every way. I know some lesbian families do have one parent who is more "primary" though.)
