arms reach cosleeper question

we have been happily using our arms reach co-sleeper since my son was born (he's 8 months now). he sleeps in it from bedtime until he wakes up at around 3am and then he spends the rest of the night in bed with us. here's the problem: he's beginning to pull up on the sides and so I know our days of our peaceful arrangement are coming to an end. Now what do we do? I'm not ready to put him in his nursery, but I also dont want to have him sleep in our bed for the entire night. any suggestions from other arms reach cosleepers out there?

You could set it up like a playpen and still use it as a bedside sleeper. It won't be as convenient for moving him in and out of bed, but he'll be used to feeling of the mattress.

DH and I were just talking about that! Our ds is almost 8months, and we do the same thing as you.........we're going to use it in playpen mode......the only problem is that sometimes to get him to bed I lay on the bed next to him and put my hand on him.....which I won't be able to do with it in playpen mode....so I'll probably lay him down next to me in my bed, and then when he's asleep move him to the arm's reach.

can all arms reach cosleepers be set up as a playpen? I have a feeling ours can be converted into a changing table.

They can all be used as playpens.......the newer ones can be used as changing tables as well......pm me if you want!
