would like opinions re: announcement

i received our proof on our announcement but cant post it here for opinions b/c i dont have any way to extract our personal info. (not that i care about you guys, but since this is pubilc, it would be everywhere).
if you would like to see it and give an opinion on it let me know and ill pm it to you.
im a horrible photographer but just got to the point where i need to get his announcements out and Melissa did a great job of it!!! also, i didnt want his pix to be 4 weeks old, so i used ones that were 1 day old, even though they were taken by me!!!

I would love to give feedback, but would it really be helpful to you if for some reason I didn't think it was a good picture? I mean, would you make a different announcement if nobody liked it or would you just send this one out anyway? Hehe...

and YES, if you guys tell me its horrible, then i will take your comments into consideration.

there are a few changes on this one though that i haven't received yet. the most important one is that instead of "born at The Birth Cottage"...it will say "born naturally at The Birth Cottage"....just to stick it to those who told me i couldn't do it!! hehehe

let me know HONESTLY what you think. Melissa did a great job, but im the one who had to send her the pix and give her text, so please be honest. this is my LAST baby announcement i will EVER send out.

did you share yours? im sure its great...i feel like mine is pretty lame b/c i really wanted a friend to take the pix (shes into photography) but she is sooo slow...and i just cant wait anymore.

Hey Rach - I didn't share my announcement, but I did share the pic that is on it. I'll scan it in in the next couple of days and show it. It is nothing like the artsy ones (like yours), but very old school... and lazy of me.

I can't access the yahoo site for the announcement either, but I was able to look at the yahoo site where you shared all of your family pics in the recent pics thread. Cool pics there. I love Ethan's cloth diaper assortment, especially that yellow one with the frog. That is so cute!!

i like the announcement...i didnt do the creative part...Melissa did! but i got annoyed at Yahoo....nothing new.

i like it..i just wish i could have captured his personality more. i think Melissa did a good job w/ the pix at the bottom...and of course i wanted to make a statement about cd's! hehehe!!! poor Ethan's announcement is more about advocating for AP than about him. lol! but hey, we get to manipulate them for such a short amt. of time!

oh, and im going to send one to my OB..that told me there was no way on earth i could have a natural birth.

i know..im evil.
