allergies/sensitivities and pimples

Anyone else notice a correlation to ongoing pimples in your babe who is allergic or sensitive to certain foods? My DS is 4-months old and we've cut our dairy, wheat, and nuts and he has made such great improvements (his symptoms are excessive flatulence that makes him scream in pain). But, the pimples are still there and I wonder what else he could be sensitive to that is causing them. They are little white raised areas with a large red area around them. He alwas has a ton on his shins, but periodically will have one lone one appear on his butt, face, arm, hand, etc.

Just looking to see if others have noticed this and if perhaps anyone has figured out if it is specific to a certain food or just a sensitivity in general.

Thanks.

For us it was gluten. They were on their faces, arms and legs. We've been GF for over a year and they are almost all gone! (there were ALOT to begin with.) It can take awhile for elimination to have a dramatic effect.

My DD broke out from eggs. She has the terrible gas pains from dairy and possibly other things (still trying to figure it all out!)
