I'm only a few weeks along & really sweating out this 1st trimester with my 3.5 yr old dd. This probably is the worst time of year to be in the 1st trimester, Feb is when we all get sick. Right now dd has the flu - she had a rash with it & I tried not to panic (I have no rubella immunity & dd is not vaxed for it) turns out it is just a weird flu rash.
Anyway, I will be SO relieved when 1st trimester is done! my last pregnancy began in June, so there was not much illness to worry about. Can anyone recommend a way to boost immunity safely in pregnancy? I have heard too much vit C is not good, so I take raw garlic cloves, cod liver oil, & probiotics. I feel ok so far, but being home with dd, how can I avoid her flu?
Which natural pregnancy book is best as far as supplements/herbs?

I found a link to a great water intake calculator on another thread a while back. It really opened my eyes! I totally thought I was drinking a "LOT" of water when I input my information and found out I was drinking less than I needed. NOW, I KNOW I'm drinking more than I "need" on a regular basis. It's rough with the potty issue... I have to pee ALL the time, but I haven't been sick or felt like I was developing anything since I've been drinking ENOUGH and more than enough water!!!
