When your child did finally start sleeping through the night . . . - Page 2

With 4 children in my home (10, 9, 2, 2 1/2 months) sleep is kind of like a luxury. If it's not one, it's another... Orion, 2 has been the "worst" sleeper. He used to be up every hour or two for feedings, didn't sleep through a single night 'till 16 months, and only sleeps through once or twice a week right now. He is getting better about going back to sleep. YAY!! It's all part of the adventure, right?!

In fact, I would actually like to wake up briefly once during the night to cuddle and nurse. It's such a sweet time together. It's the frequent wakings and nursing sessions that last 30 minutes or more that wear me down.

That's pretty much where we are too, oceanbaby. Some nights i can wake up 4 or 5 times and barely notice, but some nights it is one nursing that is over 90 minutes and I get livid (last night). I am also counting on those teeth coming in.

You mean they're supposed to sleep all night Hmmm...someone forgot to tell my DD's that. Samantha will usually get up just once a night, she's up for 10 minutes or so then goes back to sleep. Abigail is up and down all night. I try not to think about the fact that they don't sleep through the night-I'd drive myself crazy if I worried about it.
