Ok so using a Duncan Hines cake mix isn't the best tasting or healthiest cake out there, but it was awfully easy and DAIRY FREE until recently.
They reformulated and now add dry milk to the box. Not cool, since it was the only mix left w/o dairy besides the $$$$ one at the HFS.
So if you have a moment, pick up your phone and call 800-362-9834, option 1 for cake mix, option 4 for concerns/safety, and register a complaint for me, ok?
They will ask for your last name and zip code so they can give the info to marketing. I think if a few dozen (hundred? I can wish, right?) calls come in, they will go back to the old formula.
They were one of the few things on the "prepackaged safe list" I was given... and well, while we try not to eat packaged stuff, it's nice to have backups when you're starving!
