Just wanted to say thank you earthware (?I know i didn't get that right but you know who you are) for the tip on sewing the elastic to the seam. It work wonderful. Here's the diaper I just sewed with this method on my DD. It also contained a bf poo. She had it on all of 5 min before she used it. Here's also a pic of the soaker I made out of that 70% angora rabbit hair 20% nylon sweater I had in the attic. First one I made. I lanolized it and it works good for day but i don't think i would use it overnight.

Aw, thanks so much! I'm so happy it worked for you!

Now, on to the diaper and your adorable DD... they are both so cute! I'm happy the diaper held up to the test... once you get it washed you need to take some close-ups of it and post more pics!

The elastic tip is in a thread titled 'my first 3 diapers' or something like that... if I knew how to link to a thread I might just do that!
