terry washcloth soakers?

I found a great deal on terry washcloths while I was shopping yesterday, has anyone used those as soakers? They seem like they'd be really absorbant and I just made some aio's that I want to make some snap in soakers for. I planned to top them in fleece to wick away the moisture. Is there any reason that these wouldn't work?

Yep, I use them all the time. I get the 12x12" ones at Wal Mart 18 for $3.92. For larger diapers you have to use 2 and overlap them to make them long enough but the 1 is great for small or medium diapers. I wrap them in flannel btw.

I have some fleece that I've used before, to line a dipe with when ds had a rash. I'm not sure if it's regular fleece or microfleece, I don't know how to tell the difference to be honest!

microfleece is just really really thin. Um, yeah, that probably wasn't helpful!
