I cant sew this!!!!

I am trying to make a recycled wool cover out of a sweater, and I am having issues with how to sew on the legs! poooooey! Anyone able to give me some tips??

Not sure what you mean.

Are you making longies or a wrap?
If longies, are you doing it in two pieces or three? Two pieces would mean that you cut out the arms from the sweater, laid them on top of each other, traced the 'J' shape for the crotch, cut it out, then stitch them together.

Three pieces would mean using the sweater body to make the 'pelvis' of the longies, then using the arms to make the longie legs.

If the latter, I can't help, I've only done the the two-piece method.

hmm, well if I did the two piece method ( I have a few sweaters to work with) my problem is sewing the legs to the body... I am having issues sewing the pieces together.. I can sew a diaper.. but not the darn sleeves on this.. phooey!
