sissors and hair - yup - Page 2

Our ds(almost 4) likes to cut things.Spends a lot of time cutting up paper making robots. When he was around 2-ish he cut one of the cats ears. It healed ok,but boy did that worry us! I definitely keep cutting utensils out of reach

Just count your blessings...

When my MIL was a little girl, she would take the scissors and cut the hair of every family member as they slept! Then she would hide the scissors, so when her mom thought all the scissors were put away, guess what? *snip snip*

Another mother here with a 4 y/o who just yesterday gave the cat a trim!

She has also cut her own hair and several dolls hair, and countless other stuffed animals.

We tried having a cutting box with scraps of things that she could cut but it didnt seem to intice like the off limits stuff.

She had just actually started to grow hair enough that I could put pigtails in, and then she gave herself an honest-to-god, business in the front/party in the back, mullet.
