I just finished reading "Darwin's Radio" by Greg Bear. It was an interesting book, although I didn't love the ending. The reason I'm posting about it hear, however, is because in the book some babies are born and the ones that live are the ones that are delivered without an epidural and without other medications. I thought that was pretty cool.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I really really liked this book, too! I thought it was very well written, believable, and compelling. When Stella is born I thought I would faint! What a cool/scary baby.
I know that there is a sequel, Darwin's Children, but I've heard it isn't quite as good. Haven't read it yet, but if I come across it used or at the library I might give it a shot anyway.

As I was reading "Darwin's Radio" I was thinking that I HAD to read the sequel. By the end I wasn't so convinced. I'm sure I'll get it out of the library eventually, but who knows when that will be. If you read it, I'd enjoying hearing your review.
