I really have a hard time picking my favorite but here are the ones I consistently use and buy more of
www.sachicarriers.comLove the leg padding and the slightly taller body is great for little babies that need head support.
www.angelpack.comShe has a design similar to Kozy or Sachi as far as shape but I just love this carrier right now-for whatever reason it's my most comfy at the moment with my 15 mos old. She has great fabric combos-mine is Black sakura with RED straps-LOVE it!! www.Babyhawk.comHer fabrics are the absolute best to chose from on the market-stunning! I can't say enough about her fabulous selection! Her carrier is flawless and so well made too! I love her chocolate brushed twill straps-sooo soft.
The Kolamo mei tai is in production now with Ellaroo but I'd have to say it was my ALL TIME favorite. The tall headrest is the best for babies and I love the upright straps-they held baby closer than any other carrier and I liked that alot. I've used one for the last 15 mos and like it for all ages.
This is my first time in this forum, but I have to say that I love my new Mei Tai by Nurtured Little Ones. I just got it last week, and it was so easy to figure out with my one week old! Also, it's organic cotton, which I love
i'm coveting the Mei Tai Baby version because it has an adjustable drawstring bottom so that the littlest ones can be carried legs out without having to do a split. my DD (3mo) hates to have her feet confined so this is a big deal to me...
I LOVE my freehand! But I got to try on the new Kolamo/Ellaroo on Tuesday and it rocked! It is so soft and gorgeous and the fold up/down headrest seemed really handy. She's supposed to have them up at Peppermint.com soon.
We love our Kozy as well. It s very sturdy, has an indespensable pocket and the headrest supports dd s head well for naps. But then again it s the only mei tai Ive got.
I just made my first Mai Tai two days ago!!! So far we love it. I may make a couple adjustments, but it was so easy to make. I used the pattern from http://www.sleepingbaby.net/jan/ which was no problem to follow. I had so much fun making it, I'm thinking of making a few just for variety.
I have a wonderful WAHM made Mai Tai! It has padding which makes carring my almost 3 yo comfy, but at the same time the straps are not bulky. She makes both shorter & longer body styles. She really takes pride in her work, you can feel really good about giving this Mama your business
