Anyone want to make their own pool/shower solerveil sling?

I just found a great co-op to buy the solerveil fabric for way less. It's usually $10/yard and through Sherri at

it's only $6/yard. If you made yourself a pouch sling with double layer material which provides %95 UV protection you'd need 2 yards so thats $12 for a great water sling instead of the $50 they usually sell for. You can find a pouch sling pattern here:

and it's painfully easy to do!

I'm making one for myself and a few others and ust thought I'd pass along the great opportunity.

At sewingsupplycoop you go to the database section and add your name and order. Once she recieves anough orders she will place it. this should be perfect timing for summer!

How much weight can it carry? I wanted to make a pouch sling for my son, but by the time summer comes he'll be around 1 1/2yrs old! He's already 20+ lbs... what do you all think?

Solarveil is SUPER strong! If you are in doubt you can double layer it and it still functions the same way. I tote my 32 pound toddler around in solarveil with no problems
